Last Wednesday, I've went to the long awaited trip with all my colleagues. It was the company's annual D&D and it was held at
Hotel Equatorial, Malacca. Definitely something that I needed the most, rest & relaxation, a short getaway from the stressful and hectic city life.
Though I didn't get to sleep much throughout the whole 3 days event but the sleep time that were sacrificed was well spent. I got to do a little sight seeing on the first day together with Vick & Ching. I even got to pay Vick's family a visit. The weather was perfect for an outing that day.
At night back at the hotel room, Vick, Ching, Susan, Raymond and I had a wild heart attack card session. It was so crazy that we've basically smacked each others hands until it were all swollen. A great way to relief stress and vent your frustrations... hehehe
The start of the second day itself wasn't so pleasant as the management had scheduled strings of workshop sessions for the whole day. It was totally a slobber knocker, listening to the management talking the whole day. But it was all made up with an excellent D&D. The MCs were very good, kept us all entertained. And what's best was at the end of it, I even won myself a brand new handphone from the D&D's lucky draw. A
BlackBerry 8707G to be exact. WuuHuu~
The following day, I've went to KL to meet up with one of the company's regional partner, Acasia. Got the visit their office and meet the folks behind the scenes all these while working with them. They were a group of very friendly people and me, together with the rest of the SM team as well as SGO Malaysia, Encik Fuad were all well received by them. I was really humbled by their hospitalities as it was my first visit to them, face to face.
After the friendly business visit, we checked back into our service apartment in
Sungai Wang,
KL. The name of the service apartment is
Somerset Seri Bukit Ceylon and it was a huge, well furnished, well equipped apartment big enough to accommodate all 7 of us. It was rest and relaxation all the way before all of us head back home.
Overall, it was a short, though a little tight on schedule but an enjoyable & memorable little trip that I will remember...
